When do you think someone should call themselves a writer?
I think someone should call themselves a writer or whatever they want to call themselves. Whatever one chooses to call themselves, they see a reflection of what they are called. Whether they call themselves an author, poet, novelist, etc. it poses who they are when they control the pen.
What difference do you see between a writer and an author?
I don't see a difference. Both a writer and an author produce creativity using their mind and the pen.
What do the words “writer’s block” mean to you?
Honestly, the words "writer's block" means nothing me. I've never experienced it.
How do you process and deal with negative book reviews?
It depends on the review stated. If the negative review doesn't share constructive criticism to help me, I simply ignore it. It won't change me as a writer. It will just encourage me to keep writing.
What is the most challenging part of your writing process?
The most challenging part of writing is wondering if the readers will enjoy it.
How long have you been writing, or when did you start?
I started writing for the public audience in January 2015. I've been writing for nine-years. I became interested in writing fiction short stories of horror and ghost at sixteen.
What advice would you give writers working on their first book?
My advice to first time writer would be researching and brainstorming! This is the most important process within beginners writing their initial. Next, it is also important to focus on crafting your books rather royalty payment. Crafting is what brings in good royalty payments.
How do you develop your plot and characters?
Believe or not, my plot and characters' personalities are based on the names I chose for them. Once I chose a specific name for a character, my personality becomes that character. Each time I work with the character in my book, my personality sticks with that character all the way. I become that character in my mind, heart, and spirit.
How many books have you written, and which is your favorite?
So far, I've written 60 books of 80 titles. I'm planning on writing more titles in 2024. I can't voice which one of my books are my favorite. Let's just say, I have a special place in my heart for each one.
What inspired the idea for your book?
What inspires my ideas for my books are movies, other books based on similar topics, my dreams, and ideas. My brain is always conjuring up ideas 24/7 around the clock. That's why I've written so many books.
What do you need in your writing space to help you stay focused?
What I need in my writing space is solitude, quietness, and disconnection from social media, as well as the outside world. I also need a comfortable workspace environment.
