What is your writing process like?

My writing is I build a character in my head then go from there

How do you come up with ideas for stories and characters?

I think of person, place or thing and just let my mind run free.

What do the words “writer’s block” mean to you?

Get up and move around

How do you process and deal with negative book reviews?

Welcome them that means someone took the time to read your creation.

What is the most challenging part of your writing process?

Finishing it

How long have you been writing, or when did you start?

I started writing since I was a child at about ten years old.

What advice would you give writers working on their first book?

Every day work on it. Even if you just edit, read over a chapter or write a couple of lines. Just try to touch your story everyday until you finish.

How do you develop your plot and characters?

I usually start with their name then build off how their personality should be.

How many books have you written, and which is your favorite?

So far I have four books I love them all but my children's book is held to my heart dearly.

What part of the book did you have the hardest time writing?

The transition of a character. Taking a character from being one way in the story to changing everything about them. My characters are my children in a way.

What inspired the idea for your book?

My imagination and faith. Just believing some other person besides myself would enjoy it.

What was your hardest scene to write, and why?

The love scene

What do you need in your writing space to help you stay focused?

Quotes of inspirations.

If you could spend a day with another popular author, whom would you choose?

This is not a fair question LOL I can not answer this question on the grounds that my answer may be self incriminating.

When was the last time you Googled yourself and what did you find?

That I'm growing as a person and I'm very blessed to have two careers that I love.
