Author Interview - Precious Swain-Peaks

What is your writing process like?

I write all the time, I journal to clear my mind, and give myself peace. So when something continues to flow I switch paths and write it as a book in an effort to help someone else heal or overcome what ever it is that is flowing at the time.

How do you come up with ideas for stories and characters?

Because I write non fiction the characters and stories are based on actual events with the names changed to protect the individuals.

How long have you been writing, or when did you start?

I released my first book in 2013 "A Girls job is never Done".

What advice would you give writers working on their first book?

To write until you are done. Do not let the reactions of others or distractions stop you from writing your story.

How many books have you written, and which is your favorite?

I have written a 3 book series, a 5 book series, a devotional cookbook, and a standalone. My favorite was Living Life Fresh not Frozen, the devotional cookbook.

What inspired the idea for your book?

My books are based on my life.
