What do the words “writer’s block” mean to you?
Writer's block means to me you are stuck in a spot on your writing. I normally take a break and clear my head and that usually works for me. I take writer's block as a sign that I have been writing too long and I need a break.
How long have you been writing, or when did you start?
I wrote my first manuscript over 25 years ago. But I started writing poetry as a child and that's where I discovered my passion for writing.
How many books have you written, and which is your favorite?
I am the proud author of 3 published books, Joy in Sorrow, Hope for Tomorrow, Joy in Sorrow, Hope for Tomorrow: Homecoming and Charlene Marshall: My Extraordinary Odyssey. My favorite is my second book, Joy in Sorrow, Hope for Tomorrow: Homecoming. It is very encouraging, entertaining, and educating. It has won a Readers' Favorite Award.
What inspired the idea for your book?
God is my inspiration for writing. He gave me the titles for my two-book series, Joy in Sorrow, Hope for Tomorrow and Joy in Sorrow, Hope for Tomorrow: Homecoming.
When was the last time you Googled yourself and what did you find?
I googled myself about a week ago. I found the increase of book and library websites my books are on. Also, I saw a lot of my Book Signing, Speaking, and Book Discussion Events were there. Also, I saw you can go to bookfinder.com and see some of the websites your books are on.
