António Madrugada is his pseudonym but for him it has a deeper meaning, as he honors this name with his written works.

He was born in Caldas da Rainha on September 21st, 1990. He graduated in Tourism from the Professional Course of TIAT (Technician of Animation and Tourist Information) at the IEFP Centro de Formação de Santarém.

He is currently thirty-three years old and has been working and living in Sofia, Bulgaria since April 2017.

Recently, he created the pillars of the future foundation called United Writers in Sofia, with the main purpose of assisting writers and others who aspire to become writers. He intends to expand the idea to built an NGO under the name United Writer Global which the main goal is to create cultural events related to writing and to develop new projects such as plays, anthologies, and screen scripts. He plans to create NATCOW that stands for New Authors to Change Our World, a extension of United Writers to create events related to book presentation among natural place like parks and forest.

In one of his writings, he stated, "All writers and other artists who create amazing things are welcome to share their knowledge and participate in workshops. This is a place for sharing great ideas and creating greater things that will assist and benefit us all. Knowledge brings knowledge and skills. Feel free to join us and enjoy the times we spend together for a good cause. Your suggestions are highly appreciated. Our desire is to create a network and foundation to support writers." He warmly extends this welcome to everyone.

He writes under the pseudonym of António Madrugada, a persona he created as his writing identity. The name is based on the people he loves.

His passion lies in writing poems and short stories.

He volunteered between November 2013 and July 2014.

He enjoys traveling and backpacking.

He spent nine months in Romania as a European volunteer, and some of his poems are inspired by his experiences during that time.

He has been writing since the age of thirteen.

His poetry is characterized by its complex and multifaceted nature, encompassing themes of rebellion, heroism, history, nostalgia, and patriotism.

In his leisure time, he continues to write poems. He is the author of the book "Life is, by itself, a paradox" and its English translation "Life is a paradox itself."

His poem collection "Poemas movem montanhas" has also been published on the Amazon platform in English as "Poems can move mountains."

Additionally, he composes music and plays the electronic bass in his spare time.

On April 28th, 2020, he created his first Symphonic Metal project called "Wildlink" and released two demos on the digital platform Spotify.

During his childhood, he was heavily influenced by his father's musical education, who taught him to play the piano. Later on, his father also taught him to play the trumpet and trombone.

His socio-economic situation led him to change his life and seek a better future, and he is now content in the country that welcomed him.

He draws inspiration from his favorite authors and the ordinary or extraordinary events that occur in life, viewing life as a living painting with new brushstrokes and tones every day. He believes, "The perspective changes angles every second, and the picture of life will forever remain incomplete." - He believes.
