Ben Kilgore graduated from Brown University and holds a graduate degree in physics. later he worked in business doing corporate finance and venture capital. He has traveled extensively and is a co-founder of Iringa Hope which establishes village micro-finance funds in Tanzania. His passion for science and technology drives his curiosity and "what if" thoughts. Through the Raging Storm is the product of that curiosity into how ordinary people will cope with the unexpected. 

His first book, Will Normal Return, is a story of people in the mountain west dealing with a different unexpected event that changed their lives. The reader will find provocative questions and a taste of science in his work. But it's the characters that must carry the story forward, often in ways the author never anticipated.
