What advice would you give someone just starting their own business?
There are two things you need: Consistency and continuation. Never give up!
How do you deal with fear and doubt?
Work day to day. Do what you can, when you can.
What routines do you follow each day?
None really.
Where do you see your business in five years? Ten?
Big :-)
How does your business look different now vs. when you first started?
More organized.
How do you set your business apart from others in your industry?
I guarantee results. Few other coaches / consultants do that.
How did you market your business when it was brand new?
I got in front of people. Networking events online and in person, reaching out to contacts to ask for business referrals etc.
What is the hardest part of being an entrepreneur?
Finding new clients

Seeing the results I provide my clients with.

Tenacity, confidence, flexibility.

How did you raise funding or financially prepare for your business?
I used my savings
Do you have any advice about setting up a business in terms of legal/accounting?
Initially, go it alone with a set of income and expenses spreadsheets. Once you are solid on cashflow, invest in accounting software. Use standard legal documentation at first. If in doubt, ask a lawyer.
Should I get an LLC before starting a business?
No. This comes later.
How do you plan financially for your business’s future?
Save and save and save. Plan in terms of profit and client acquisition
Have you ever taken out a business loan? Would you recommend it?
No. I am not a fan of debt.
