I Am Cancer Free, a moving memoir of her near-death experience also won an award in the category of Health and Fitness in Readers Favorite International Awards.
She won the Culture, Literature, and Research Award, India, for Best Fantasy Writer, for her mystery book Barry Holmes Mysteries. The International Chamber of Writers and Artists also awarded her for the publication of that book.
